MOFGA continues to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and takes this threat seriously. As an organization we are taking steps to limit face to face interactions in line with recommendations from the CDC.

The MOFGA offices, fair grounds and orchards are closed to the public (online store is open) and staff are working remotely until further notice. Select staff and volunteers are working on the grounds by prior arrangement only.

Annual onsite inspections of certified operations continues and we have put additional measures in place in an effort to ensure safety for inspectors, operators and businesses.

Many MOFGA events have been canceled, postponed, or are being offered in alternative formats. Please visit individual event pages for the most up to date information.

We will follow the guidance and advice of the Maine CDC and will keep this page updated as the situation evolves.

We are committed to offering safe and healthy work and educational experiences for everyone in the MOFGA community. We will adjust our practices as this situation unfolds to make sure we are meeting those goals.

Many MOFGA certified organic producers are offering alternative sales options. Click on the link below to read more.
