Bangor Daily News - 2/23/2012.By Abigail Curtis – Belfast: A major food processing facility that has been in the works for months has reached a $2 million financial goal and should be up and running by the first of July. Jan Anderson, co-owner of Coastal Farms Food Processing, announced this week to the Belfast City Council that the 50,000 square foot space will be open for business by then.

And the need to "keep things going" for future generations is quite frankly the reason I have been venturing into extremely dangerous territory by speaking about the future of food over the past 30 years. I have all the scars to prove it! Questioning the conventional worldview is a risky business. And the only reason I have done so is for the sake of the younger generation and for the integrity of Nature herself.
