Chick Farm's display at a farmers' market

Know Your Organic Producers!

At Chick Farm in Wells, Rick and Marilyn Stanley produce vegetables (including asparagus and sweet potatoes), raspberries, broilers and eggs, which they sell through farmers' markets, natural food stores and at restaurants. "Each farm activity - whether it's livestock, gardening or timber harvesting - complements the rest," say the Stanleys. "The result is healthy crops, healthy animals and a farm operation that is gentle on the environment."
