Y.E.Z., We’ll Do It Again!

Thanks to our first year vendors’ quality products and their upbeat sales approach, the Youth Enterprise Zone has found a home at the Common Ground Country Fair, and Y.E.Z., we’ll do it again.

Fairgoers of all ages filled our tent and enjoyed the opportunity to meet the kids and talk about their products, ranging from cookies to candles and sand art to hairwraps. The goats milk soap, bat houses and indoor/outdoor plants and herbs all helped make our first Y.E.Z. a success.

A special thanks and congratulations to all the kids who did a super job of preparing and presenting themselves and their wares. As the first coordinator for Y.E.Z., wary of any possible mishap or disaster, surprisingly I found my main job was just to get out of the way. The kids really did it all … we just opened the tent.

– Bob Egan, Y.E.Z. Coordinator
