New Hires at MOFGA – September 2019

Hillary Barter Jenny Doyle
Noah Gleason-Hart Julie Trudel

September 2019

Hillary Barter, our new educational programs coordinator, has coordinated programming and events at a variety of nonprofits. She also has experience as a grower.

Jenny Doyle, MOFGA’s new orchard assistant, lives in Montville on the homestead where she grew up helping tend gardens and fruit trees. She works seasonally for Fedco Trees and is excited to be caring for fruit trees through the growing season.

Noah Gleason-Hart is MOFGA’s new low-impact forestry specialist. He grew up in Porter, Maine, has worked as a firefighter for the U.S. Forest Service, as a forestry technician for a private consulting forestry company, and apprenticed with a commercial horse logger in Vermont. His partner, Grace Pease, runs Merrifield Farm in Cornish, a long-time host farm for MOFGA apprentices.

Julie Trudel has been hired MOFGA Certification Services’ staff inspector/materials reviewer. She has been a seasonal inspector for a few years, and MCS is delighted to have her join the team year round.

Welcome, all!
