Happy Patriot's Day weekend!

Patriot's Day is a traditional time to plant peas in the garden with the hopes of having peas for dinner on Independence Day. Some of MOFGA's staff are excited to plant peas in their own gardens this weekend and list 'Sugar Ann', 'Oregon Giant', 'Progress #9' and 'Green Arrow' among their favorite varieties.

For more on planting peas and this garden tradition, read this article by MOFGA's former executive director, Russell Libby.
