The Fair's Exhibition Hall Has Gone Digital

August 24, 2020

The Exhibition Hall is a beloved hub of the Common Ground Country Fair. For gardeners, growers, seed savers and eaters, the hall provides delight in this year's harvest and inspiration for the coming season. To continue this proud tradition for the 2020 alternative Common Ground Country Fair, we will accept submissions to our digital Exhibition Hall. Find Exhibition Hall rules and information here, but please note that entry categories this year are limited to vegetables, fruits, grains, flowers, fresh herbs and houseplants.

When submitting entries, please follow the usual rules and suggestions in the above link regarding presentation (criteria, number of specimens and condition). Please submit one clear photograph per entry taken either on a white background (paper plate, bowl, sheet of white paper) or, for 2020 only, taken in the field (e.g., a bunch of cherry tomatoes on the vine, flower on the stem, head of lettuce growing in the row or radishes pulled and laid in the bed). If you have an item for which you want to show scale, you may place something comparative in the photo – we'd love to see that dinnerplate dahlia, giant elephant head amaranth or giant pumpkin with you or a family member standing beside it.

You may submit photographs using this form.

We will accept submissions until September 15, 2020, at 5 p.m.
