Learn safe chainsaw operation in these one-and-a-half-day courses. We’ll cover personal protective equipment (PPE) and chainsaw selection, and practice safe handling and open-face bore cutting techniques with instructor supervision. Designed and structured to create a welcoming learning environment for beginner-level chainsaw users who can relate to the experiences of women in the woods or feel safest learning in a space dominated by women.
Day 1 of this course will run 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Day 2 will run 8 a.m to 4 p.m.
