Grow Your Own Apothecary: In-Person

Join MOFGA and Emily Springer, of Meeting House Farm, for an early summer evening of learning about, and planting, medicinal herbs at MOFGA’s Education Center in Unity.

In this beginner-friendly class, participants will learn about 12 vital medicinal herbs that they can grow at home or in their community. Participants will also learn about herb garden design, get acquainted with tools of the trade, and gain direct experience with planting medicinal herbs by working with MOFGA’s herb garden. There will be plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion. Light snacks will be provided.

*Scholarship funds are available to community members in order to increase program accessibility, and participants in MOFGA’s Journeyperson program are welcome to register at no-cost.
